I had planned on writing up this one day that I broke free and found my creative spark again, post it here on my blog. But once it hit 1000 words, I realized that this would be perfect material for my novel. So instead of wasting it here, I’ll just post some photos. They were shot with my iPhone, as I was traveling light that day, but boy do I wish I had my Digital Rebel XSi. I guess I can always revisit my walk along the East River. A rather romantic stretch of New York City if you ask me, especially on a quiet midday of October…I only wish I had someone special to share it with.
The photos aren’t actually all that accurate a representation of what I saw that morning, which is why I wish I had my SLR with me.

Top right shot looks like it’s an awesome scene I must incorporate into my NYC at Night photo project. Where was it?
It’s the Carl Schurz Park by the East River. Don’t forget to link to your gallery when you get it set up.
Thanks, I’ll see if I can get a chance to get out there one of these nights.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a negative scanner (which I’ve been meaning to buy for the longest time) and I’ve eschewed the digital format in favor of 120 format for most of my serious stuff, so I don’t have a gallery.
