So I had this dream where I was inside a video game. I knew I was in one. I guess it was like virtual reality. It was kinda cool…I remember this one bit where I had to get out of a spooky hauntedmansion. I was trying to walk through some walkway, the type that connects one wing of a house to another. It was made of large gray stones, everything had a very castle-y feel to it. All of a sudden the large floor to ceiling double doors made of wood and painted red were slammed shut. We turned around and then the other doors locked too; me and my partner were locked in the walkway.
Somehow we got out and went into the large castle, and there were ghosts. You could almost see some of them. My partner pointed one out, it was traveling fast across the ceiling. All you could see was a slight haze. Then all of a sudden, it became a little more clear to see, and it was bearing down on us, and pretty damn fast too. My partner was screaming, and I got nervous. I charged up my Ghostbusters gear and got off a shot in time. Unfortunately, I wasn’t charged enough and the blast was a little too short to get the job done. My partner finally got over the frenzy and continued blasting the ghost. I had to work the ghost trapping thing. It was my first time ever handling this equipment so I fumbled around a lot, but I got it working and we trapped the ghost. The identity of my partner was shifting all the time. Sometimes it was a guy who reminded me of my old friend Tony, but then sometimes it was a lean and pale girl who reminded me of the webcam model girl that I never went out with (due to my terms…which reminds me, I should write about that).Prior to this Ghostbuster dream, I think there was a scene where I was in what felt like a Fallout game, trying to barter for this rare Batman comic book I saw on someone’s bazaar shelf. My partner, this time some unidentified male, and I were walking somewhere in the desert and we passed by this bazaar stand. A Batman comic book caught my eye. It had a very plain cover: no letters, only a gray background with the black Batman symbol on top. I knew it to be quite valuable, but didn’t want to let that guy who owned it know. The original terms that he offered to us were that we give up our lower legs, to be replaced by mechanical prosthesis. That didn’t seem very appealing. I ended up haggling with him, and I got it for an even more reduced price under the terms were that we had to provide services (nothing gay or anything).
I wonder why I can only seem to dream if I wake up and then go back to sleep…I rarely ever get dreams from the first round of sleep. I’m going to have a look at lucid dreaming now…
